On January 12th 2010, Haiti was rocked by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake. The capital city of Port-au-Prince and surrounding communities and cities were devastated. While the world came quickly to the aide of Haiti, gong term solutions for the poorest nation in the western hemisphere continue to be slow. As a result in 2014, The Bridge decided to help change that and went on mission to help support and establish a presence on the ground in Haiti by serving, praying, and displaying acts of love in the country. That trip not only helped to change the lives of the people of Haiti that year but it left a lasting impression on the hearts of the mission team and the Bridge as a whole.
