Did you know that foster care kids often move from home to home with their personal belongings in a trash bag?

It is heartbreaking and traumatizing. Pastor Shala’s husband was in foster care as a teenager, aging out of the system, and could testify that this is true. Comfort Cases, a nonprofit in Rockville, is out to bring dignity and hope to youth in foster care. We will be doing a flash donation drive to support this great, local organization by the end of the year.

Let’s close out 2020 with a heart that wants to give back to others. While Comfort Cases provides cases to kids of all ages, we specifically want to do a drive for backpacks and toiletries with teenagers in mind. To expedite this process for those who are able to give, we have created an Amazon Wish List made of items that were either on Comfort Cases’ wish list or on their general donation list.
